The trailer has been released for the upcoming Harry and Meghan docuseries coming to Netflix.<\/p>\n
A part of me wants to say “nope, not watching it” but the other part of me can’t wait to see it.\u00a0 I think the drama with the royals is getting to be way too much.\u00a0 Someone needs to just say “enough already” and be done with all of it.\u00a0 I mean, now that the Queen is gone, is it ever really going to be or feel the same?\u00a0 Is anyone ever going to be able to have that respect and admiration for King Charles?\u00a0 I find him interesting and can appreciate his green earth initiatives, but I think I hold a grudge against him for the whole Diana thing.\u00a0 And I realize it’s not REALLY his fault.\u00a0 It’s the monarchy.\u00a0 It’s the “way” of doing things in the royal family that ruined that fairy tale for us.\u00a0 If Charles had been “allowed” to marry who he wanted, it would have been Camilla from the start. She was always his true love, as much as that hurts my heart to say.<\/p>\n
But for a while we had the fairy tale.\u00a0 We had Charles and Diana.\u00a0 The wedding.\u00a0 The spectacle.\u00a0 We had Diana.\u00a0 The “Queen of people’s hearts”.\u00a0 \u00a0We watched the story from a far.\u00a0 We watched those boys grow up, and then we watched them grow up without their mother.\u00a0 So I think us fans of Diana feel protective over her beloved boys, knowing that she loved them more than life itself.\u00a0 And she would want them to be happy.\u00a0 She would want them to be loved.\u00a0 She would love that they make a difference in the world.<\/p>\n
Harry has a book coming out in the new year.\u00a0 The “Spare” and yes, I have that on my list of books I want to read because I am curious to know more about him.\u00a0 Harry was always the mischievous one.\u00a0 I think he always knew he would never be king.\u00a0 I think he was more relaxed and knew he could get away with more.\u00a0 And we often laughed and smiled at some of the things he did.\u00a0 It’s an odd world to grow up in and to feel you have no choice.\u00a0 Harry did the unthinkable when he said he was leaving the royal family.\u00a0 To protect his family.\u00a0 He feared that the same thing that happened to his mother, with the paparazzi, would happen to Meghan.\u00a0 You have to have sympathy for that.\u00a0 I somehow think that maybe even the Queen thought “well done”.\u00a0 \u00a0As much as the Queen was dedicated and loyal and served her country, it was never something she chose.\u00a0 It chose her.<\/p>\n
Meghan shares in the clip shared ” When the stakes are this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?”<\/p>\n
This is going to ruffle even more royal feathers.\u00a0 I can’t even imagine the conversations happening over this and the memoir to be released.\u00a0 I worry that Harry and William will never make amends, and that for sure would make their late mother incredibly heartbroken.<\/p>\n
Netflix is billing the six-part series as “an unprecedented and in-depth” look at “one of the most-discussed couples in history.”<\/p>\n
So yes, I will probably watch.\u00a0 Even if I think it’s too much and is pouring salt on the wounds with the family.\u00a0 But I am curious to know more about the lives of Harry and Meghan.\u00a0 And I do think I will watch the documentary.\u00a0 Will you?<\/p>\n
I have to say it’s giving me John Lennon\/ Yoko Ono vibes.\u00a0 Yoko broke up the Beatles.\u00a0 Did Meghan finally break the Royal family?\u00a0 Hmmmm.<\/p>\n
