I hope you had a wonderful Christmas however that looks to you.\u00a0 Now we look ahead to a brand spanking new year full of hope and new opportunities, adventures, challenges and goals.<\/p>\n

I admit I love this time of year.\u00a0 \u00a0I’ve already got started on cleaning and organizing for the new year ahead.\u00a0 It gives me hope that I least I can start the new year strong.<\/p>\n

I managed to let go of a lot of “stuff” just taking up space.\u00a0 It feels good to let go of the clutter.\u00a0 It helps to focus on what’s ahead in the new year.<\/p>\n

I love starting fresh, starting over, starting strong.\u00a0 Whether it lasts past January is always a fun guessing game, but at least I will try.<\/p>\n

I look back at 2022 with a smile.\u00a0 \u00a0No regrets.\u00a0 It was a good year with lots of great memories made.\u00a0 \u00a0What do you think of when you look back on 2022?\u00a0 Any special moments that stand out?\u00a0 Anything you’d like to change?<\/p>\n

I came across a website today that I really like.\u00a0 Skip To My Lou<\/a>\u00a0has a fun page where your kids can share all the things that they remember about the year. Favourite song, favourite food, best memory, favourite saying and more.\u00a0 \u00a0I think us big kids could play along as well.<\/p>\n

There’s also a really great reflections game you can play.\u00a0 Specific questions that help you to look back on 2022.\u00a0 Like what was your favourite social event this year.\u00a0 Your biggest achievement?\u00a0 Proudest moment. Who made the biggest impact on your life?\u00a0 The best movie you saw this year.\u00a0 And thinking about the new year – one thing you want to learn?\u00a0 Something you want to change?\u00a0 A place you want to visit.<\/p>\n

So many good questions to reflect on the past year and look forward to in the new year.<\/p>\n

I know that in the new year, I want to learn to play guitar and I want to start writing more.\u00a0 I want to get healthier, and drop a few pounds (I say that every year, but this year I want to be focused, and stay consistent with no more excuses) Please help me stay on track this time.<\/p>\n

Best movie I saw this year was the Elvis movie. So good. My favourite social event was seeing Duran Duran in Toronto in the pouring rain and storm warnings with my brother.\u00a0 Best advice is to be kind – especially to yourself.<\/p>\n

Lots of reflection on the past year and so much excitement for the year ahead.<\/p>\n
