A reunion of sorts for the high school I attended.<\/p>\n<p>Those who graduated between 1987 and 1989. Nothing makes you feel as old as realizing it&#8217;s been THIRTY years since you graduated high school.<\/p>\n<p>What was your high school experience like? We had just moved from Mississauga to Thedford. I knew NOBODY. I spent the majority of grade nine hanging out in the library in between classes. High school is tough enough without knowing anybody. Yeah, I got through it and even made some really great friends along the way.<\/p>\n<p>Four years can seem like an eternity when you&#8217;re in the thick of it. Looking back we realize it really is nothing in the grand scheme of things.\u00a0 Four years to figure it all out. What you are going to &#8220;be when you grow up.&#8221; Scary, isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<p>So many great memories from those days for sure. Learning who I was, and trying to find who I really wanted to be.<\/p>\n<p>I honestly haven&#8217;t kept in touch with many people from those years. I have a few close friends I text once in a while or keep in contact with on social media, but otherwise I don&#8217;t know too many.<\/p>\n<p>For those who went to North Lambton Secondary School in Forest &#8211; there is a reunion coming up Saturday July 20th, from 1 to 5pm, at the Kimball Hall (old Forest Arena) in Forest for those who graduated between 1987 and 1989.\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Further details will be announced in the coming weeks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2365\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/bri-web-app-wordpress\/2019\/02\/eac1bf3f-north-lambton-pic-300x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/> <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2366\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.googleapis.com\/bri-web-app-wordpress\/2019\/02\/beb160f3-north-lambton-205x168.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An invitation went out on Facebook this weekend.
