Nostalgia is powerful isn’t it?\u00a0 All those things that remind us of our younger days that make us smile.\u00a0 There’s a reason it’s a powerful marketing tool.\u00a0 We love to be reminded of carefree days.<\/p>\n

I got hit with a bit of nostalgia today.\u00a0 It came up on my Facebook feed.\u00a0 One of the sites I can still see (sarcasm implied).\u00a0 \u00a0It’s Duran Duran appreciation day.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

For me, that’s pretty\u00a0much every day, (smile) but let’s play along.\u00a0 It brings me back to my (ahem) younger days.\u00a0 When music was everything.\u00a0 Buying our music was still a thing.\u00a0 We waited anxiously on every single album release.\u00a0 We were glued to the radio hoping to hear our favourite songs.<\/p>\n

Yep. Music is powerful.\u00a0 And the songs you grew up with, the bands you grew up with – they are still with you.<\/p>\n

For me Duran Duran was the first band that I fell in love with.\u00a0 I’ve seen them three times in concert and they just get better.<\/p>\n

What is “your” band?\u00a0 The one that you never get tired of listening to no matter how old you get?\u00a0 The band that has brought you through good times and bad times?\u00a0 The band you own every album and know every word to every song?<\/p>\n
