Taylor Swift has released another rerecorded album with five new “vault”<\/em> tracks.\u00a0 “1989”<\/em> (Taylor’s version came out today and Swifties are going nuts over it).<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Taylor said that this collection was her “most favourite re-record”<\/em> to date because of the “insane”<\/em> vault tracks. There are five previously unreleased songs on this new collection.<\/p>\n

In a message she shared to social media to celebrate the release, Taylor writes –<\/p>\n

The original album was released exactly nine years ago on this date in 2014. It earned 10 Grammy nominations in 2016 – winning for Best Pop Vocal album and Best Music Video for “Bad Blood”.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

In 2019, Taylor announced she planned to re-record her first six albums to reclaim ownership of her own music. So far she has released “Taylor’s Version”<\/em> albums for “Red”, “Speak Now” “Fearless”<\/em> and now “1989”. Still waiting on 2017’s “Reputation”<\/em> and her 2006 self-titled debut album “Taylor Swift”.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>No word on when that might happen.<\/p>\n
