This one hurts.\u00a0 News broke <\/a>this weekend<\/a> that Friends actor Matthew Perry passed away.<\/p>\n

I don’t know about you, but the older I get, the harder this stuff is to handle.\u00a0 How can Chandler be gone?\u00a0 He was only 54.\u00a0 He had been through so much and was on the other side of the struggle.<\/p>\n

He\u00a0wrote the book.\u00a0 \u00a0He opened up.\u00a0 He was helping other people with their struggles.\u00a0 \u00a0He was gifted.\u00a0 He was talented.\u00a0 He was so incredibly\u00a0funny.<\/p>\n

So how can\u00a0\"\"he really be gone?\u00a0 How can there be a world with Matthew Perry one day and then one day where he is no longer here?<\/p>\n

I’m crushed.\u00a0 So are so many others.\u00a0 \u00a0I didn’t even know him.\u00a0 He wasn’t my family.\u00a0 We weren’t close.\u00a0 I never met him other than through a tv screen.<\/p>\n

He made me laugh out loud til I cried more times than I can count, but he could always play a very serious role when needed.<\/p>\n

Incredibly sad.\u00a0 The more I watch old clips and interviews, the harder the news hits.<\/p>\n

Yep, we remember him as Chandler.\u00a0 But he did other shows.\u00a0 For those of us older kids (smile), do you remember him on Growing Pains?\u00a0 He played a role on that show.\u00a0 Among other shows and movies too.\u00a0 But I think it was Friends where we really got close.\u00a0 He was there with the one liners, the jokes.\u00a0 \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

What was your favourite episode of Friends?\u00a0 Did you have a favourite line?\u00a0 Something that sticks out.<\/p>\n

I’ve reserved his book from the library so I can read about his life story that inspired so many since it’s release last year.\u00a0 So incredibly sad.\u00a0 Matthew Perry – thank you for the gift of laughter you brought to the world.\u00a0 So many of us had our spirits lifted by your comedy.\u00a0 \u00a0We felt we knew you – even if we never met.<\/p>\n

Thinking of his loved ones at this difficult time.\u00a0 Sending love and prayers in their direction.\u00a0 \u00a0This one is going to hurt for a long time.<\/p>\n
