<\/p>\nOn this International Women’s Day – I celebrate you.\u00a0 I am standing with you and cheering you on.<\/p>\n
Who are you celebrating today?\u00a0 I hope you put yourself on the list.\u00a0 What are you proud of?\u00a0 What have you done that makes you smile and makes you feel good about?\u00a0 I hope you<\/p>\n
Who inspires you?\u00a0 I think it is so important to surround ourselves with positive, uplifting women.\u00a0 I think it’s important to surround ourselves with people who will lift us up and encourage us and help us to keep believing in ourselves.\u00a0 \u00a0Surround yourself with others who will encourage you to dream big and go for those dreams.\u00a0 Protect your boundaries from anything that will distract you or bring you down.<\/p>\n
I feel so lucky to know so many incredible women.\u00a0 I was raised by one.\u00a0 My mom might be gone from my life but I am determined to live a life she would be proud of.\u00a0 She raised us with heart and humour.\u00a0 She taught me to stand strong.\u00a0 \u00a0Family is the most important but you can do things for yourself too.\u00a0 \u00a0I want to live my life in a way that celebrates who she was and what she taught me.\u00a0 \u00a0She died too young and I want to somehow make up for what was lost.<\/p>\n
My grandmother was fierce and fun.\u00a0 My aunts too helped to guide me in this world, more so after my mom died.\u00a0 I have been lucky to have other women step in and help me navigate the world without her.\u00a0 My second mom is an inspiration as well.\u00a0 \u00a0I see the value of hard work.\u00a0 How a woman can run a business successfully.\u00a0 \u00a0The power of faith and family and so much more have been learned from her.<\/p>\n
I have an incredible circle of friends.\u00a0 Some have been with me since I was a kid.\u00a0 Some since high school and college.\u00a0 Others I have met along the way.\u00a0 \u00a0I love them dearly.\u00a0 They keep me on track and don’t let me discount myself or make myself small.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
I work with an amazing team of ladies who inspire me each and every day.\u00a0 I’m incredibly lucky to not only call them co-workers, but close friends.\u00a0 That’s important.\u00a0 When you care about the people you work with it makes such a difference.\u00a0 When you encourage each other and lift each other up, it makes a difference.<\/p>\n
Don’t ever stop believing in yourself and don’t ever stop being someone to lift up others and walk beside them and encourage them in whatever they want to do.<\/p>\n
Let’s encourage each other to dream and go after those scary goals that can feel so intimidating and out of reach.<\/p>\n
Happy International Women’s Day to you today.\u00a0 We are so lucky to be doing life together.<\/p>\n
