A live version of the legendary song has just been released and it’s magic.<\/p>\n
I know I am not the only one who is and has been a fan of George Michael.\u00a0 Wham! too.\u00a0 So this is a pretty cool thing to come across today.<\/p>\n
Careless Whisper is celebrating it’s 40 year anniversary – (hard to believe) – and to recognize the milestone, a previously unreleased live version of the song has just been released as part of a new EP.\u00a0 The performance comes from the infamous Madison Square Garden in New York City.\u00a0 July 23rd, 2008.\u00a0 George Michael was on the road with his 25 Live tour.\u00a0 He travelled the world, selling out arenas and stadiums, performing to over 1.3 million fans around the world.\u00a0 This performance was the first time he performed in front of a New York audience after his 17-year hiatus.<\/p>\n
Careless Whisper by itself is such an iconic song.\u00a0 The saxophones.\u00a0 The whole vibe.\u00a0 But when you get to hear it LIVE, with George Michael connecting with the crowd, and you hear the crowd singing the song back to him – it’s a whole new experience and a whole new love of the song.<\/p>\n
It’s one of my favourites already, but I love this version so much more.\u00a0 It just makes us miss George Michael even more.<\/p>\n
The new EP, to celebrate the legacy of George Michael’s iconic hit single is out now which includes newly mastered versions of the original single, the extended mix and instrumental.<\/p>\n
