When HBO released Leaving Neverland –\u00a0 the four-hour Michael Jackson documentary about the late King of Pop’s alleged sexual abuse crimes, people were shocked.\u00a0 They were angry.\u00a0 And some not too pleased it was so one-sided.\u00a0 Allegations being made against a man who has passed away and can’t defend himself.\u00a0 Allegations that were once proved false many years ago by the same people who once defended Michael and continued to work for him.<\/p>\n
Now, in response to that – comes Neverland Firsthand: Investigating the Michael Jackson Documentary.<\/p>\n
Tackling the accusations, in an attempt to prove them wrong.\u00a0 Standing up for the man who can’t stand up for himself.\u00a0 It’s just thirty minutes.\u00a0 Interviews with people who were once very close to Michael Jackson \u2014 including his collaborators, employees and even some of his family members \u2014 the film provides a new outlook on the ongoing controversy.<\/p>\n
The mini-documentary was shared to YouTube on March 30. It was directed by Eli Pedraza and produced by Liam McEwan, who serves also as the narrator and key interviewer.<\/p>\n
