I wanted to take a minute to pop in on this very busy Christmas Eve day to wish you a very Merry Christmas!\u00a0 However that looks for you.\u00a0 I hope you find time to relax and unwind and really enjoy every minute of the holiday season however that looks like for you.\u00a0 I’ve learned over the years of trying to “do it right” that the very best holidays are the ones that you make your own.<\/p>\n
Don’t get caught up in the craziness of the season.\u00a0 Sit, relax and enjoy.<\/p>\n
I would love to know what your favourite things to do at Christmas are.\u00a0 We love to drive around and look at the lights.\u00a0 They look even prettier with the newly fallen snow! Maybe wander through the Celebration of Lights in Centennial Park.\u00a0 We’re making finger foods for dinner – just snacking the night away.\u00a0 (smile)\u00a0 Tomorrow will be turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes with veggies.\u00a0 Maybe an apple pie for dessert.\u00a0 I haven’t decided yet. (smile).\u00a0 What are you having?\u00a0 It’s that or cake.<\/p>\n
Above all else, the busyness and the stress and overwhelm that sometimes comes with the holidays.\u00a0 Missing those in heaven.\u00a0 I’m feeling very grateful for all that I have in my life.\u00a0 For my family and friends, for the presents under the tree and food on the table.<\/p>\n
It’s a perfect time to reflect and enjoy.<\/p>\n
