Today\u00a0is World Suicide Prevention Day. You might be seeing yellow signs and yellow ribbons across our area.\u00a0 In businesses and on front lawns. They are there to symbolize hope and connection.\u00a0\u00a0This can be a tough day as we remember those lives lost to suicide.\u00a0 Today we stand with you.<\/p>\n
I look at those signs and ribbons and my heart goes out to those lives lost.\u00a0 To those who are hurting.\u00a0 To those who have lost someone they loved.<\/p>\n
It’s devastating and makes no sense.\u00a0 There’s only heartache and questions.<\/p>\n
Today is a day to stand with those who are hurting.\u00a0 From those who have lost someone they loved.\u00a0 To those who are struggling.<\/p>\n
You are not alone.\u00a0 I don’t know who we get better, but we need to keep conversations going and we need to keep reaching out.<\/p>\n
