I bought a dutch oven recently and I love it!\u00a0\u00a0I use it all the time!<\/p>\n

I bought it initially to bake sour dough.\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Once Taylor Swift started talking about her new obsession with sour dough, I thought I would give it a try.<\/p>\n

It’s a lot more complicated than I expected.\u00a0 My starter never got started, (smile) so Sarah Woodley helped me out.\u00a0 She gave me a starter to get me going.<\/p>\n

It’s still alive and I’m still learning, but I’m getting better.\u00a0 I have dough ready to bake as we speak.\u00a0 Fingers crossed this one is edible. (smile) I struggle with patience sometimes.\u00a0 I want to learn how to do it, but wish I wasn’t so terrible at the learning part.<\/p>\n

I’m also learning to use my dutch oven for my soups and stews!<\/p>\n

Today I’m in the process of making a yummy minestrone.\u00a0 Super easy and fairly inexpensive too.\u00a0 I chopped up my veggies this morning and sauteed them in the pot, so tonight all I have to do is put the remaining ingredients together when I get home.\u00a0 Super easy.<\/p>\n

I’m sharing the recipe I use just in case you want to make something to warm up your bones too!<\/p>\n

It’s super tasty and pretty easy to make.<\/p>\n
