An amazing cast with so much talent. To the cast and crew of this show — you were all INCREDIBLE! I loved every minute! I loved the sets, and the backgrounds. I loved seeing the buildings on the big screen as a backdrop, and watching like watching the original black and white movie.

If you’ve seen the movie, you’re familiar with the story, but to see it performed on stage this way took it to another level.

From the beginning song, to the very end – it was moving, charming, funny and emotional and it was hard to not shed a few tears. The joy that George felt at the end was contagious and I didn’t want it to end.

I think it’s a message that maybe we could all use right now. A reminder that you matter. Your life matters. And no matter what difficulties or challenges you are facing, or how bleak it looks – you matter. You just don’t always see it or believe it to be true. People

Meet George. A man down on his luck. He’s at the end of his rope. Believes he’s worth more dead than alive. He’s lost hope. He’s lost his joy. He’s forgotten what matters.

An angel is watching out for him. Ready to step in and help him and in the process earn his “wings”.

We get a glimpse of George’s life leading up to where he is now. You see him as a child and all the things he went through that seemed almost insignificant on their own.

It’s not until he gets a glimpse of what life would be like without him, if he got his wish of “I wish I was never born”. We see how life would be so different. How many lives he actually touched and even saved.

This is a show about love, relationships, hope. The power of community. A reminder to always hope and always believe.

It was an incredible show and I really hope you get a chance to go see this amazing production from Theatre Sarnia.

Some tickets are still available through the Imperial Theatre box office.

Shows run tonight (December 18th) at 7:30, Friday (December 19th) at 7:30 and again Saturday (December 20th) at 2pm.

Last night I had the chance to see “It’s A Wonderful Life” at the Imperial Theatre presented by Theatre Sarnia and to say it was good is an understatement.
