Checking in to say “hey” and see how y’all are doing. Gearing up for a fun weekend with lots to do. Be sure to check out “What’s Up Sarnia-Lambton<\/a>” for a guide to all the fun happening in and around Sarnia-Lambton so you don’t miss anything. Like Ribest or the Dog Festival, The Aamjiwnaang Pow Wow, or Boys Home Run\/Walk\/Bike event. Always lots to do in the area this time of year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My oldest daughter is home visiting right now, which is really strange as a parent. When your grown up kids “visit”. It’s a different dynamic, isn’t it? The relationship changes once they leave the nest. Sometimes it’s our kids taking care of us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next week, I’m taking a week of vacation and we’re going to hang out and do fun things. Like hitting the beach, getting fries under the bridge, taking a tour of Rock Glen falls and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anything you suggest that I might have missed? We’re going to do some thrifting, some record shopping at a few local businesses (there’s a sale this weekend at Imperial City Brewhouse. Friends of S.W.O. Records will be hosting a record and CD sale this Saturday June 20th, from 11am-3pm.
5 vendors with lots of great stuff for you to browse through. If you ever come across a New Kids on the Block record you don’t want, please let me know. It’s high on my wish list. Depeche Mode greatest hits, and the new Noah Kahan too. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maybe I’ll find myself some new t-shirts, because apparently I have quite the growing collection. I’ll never be fashionable and I’ve learned to accept that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love my t-shirts with fun, relatable sayings on them – my latest find was “Ew, David!” from Schitts Creek. I’m slightly obsessed with the show. I love my concert shirts too. Just found a Taylor Swift “The Era’s Tour” t-shirt at Goodwill. If it’s not t-shirts with fun sayings, then it’s pretty much something with flowers on it. I guess I have a style, but it’s just mine. Ha ha ha. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you have a collection of something that maybe surprises you? I guess I collect fun t-shirts, records, plants and I still can’t say no to another scrapbook album or cute stickers even if I struggle to make time to do it. Maybe this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

P.S. My daughter is on the hunt for Littlest Pet Shops. Something she remembers fondly from childhood. So if you have some you’re looking to get rid of, or know where to find them? Help a girl out. Seriously. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
