I&#8217;ve watched on my own and with my kids.\u00a0 \u00a0Grease.\u00a0 \u00a0And only the original.\u00a0 You just can&#8217;t make a Grease 2 and expect the same results.<\/p>\n<p>John Travolta.\u00a0 Olivia Newton-John.<\/p>\n<p>Danny Zuko.\u00a0 Sandy.<\/p>\n<p>Summer nights.\u00a0 Hopelessly devoted.\u00a0 Grease is the word.<\/p>\n<p>I know every lyric to every song.\u00a0 I know the dialogue.<\/p>\n<p>The songs.\u00a0 The characters.\u00a0 The swooning.<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/john-travolta-and-olivia-newton-john-reunite-for-a-grease-sing-along-see-the-pics-138014\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John Travolta says in this clip<\/a> &#8211; every guy wanted to date Olivia and every girl wanted to be her.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know if that&#8217;s true of everyone, but I sure did.<\/p>\n<p>I loved the idea of this innocent, and cute girl who meets this dream guy and discovers this whole other side of herself.\u00a0 She doesn&#8217;t lose herself to be liked.<\/p>\n<p>And who didn&#8217;t love Danny? The cool guy who fights for the girl. And he was cool.\u00a0 A &#8220;greaser&#8221;.\u00a0 Fast cars.\u00a0 Leather jackets.\u00a0 Greased back hair.<\/p>\n<p>I think every girl wanted a Danny Zucko.<\/p>\n<p>40 years later, Grease is still the word and just as popular as ever, and so are the stars!<\/p>\n<p>John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John reunited this weekend to celebrate their iconic 1978 movie, hosting the first of three &#8220;Meet &#8216;N&#8217; Grease&#8221; singalong events in Florida.<\/p>\n<p>AND &#8211; they wore the same outfits they first wore in the movie.\u00a0 Olivia in her &#8220;good girl&#8221; outfit, yellow cardigan and skirt, and John wore his T-bird black leather.\u00a0 And he looked just like he did in the movie 40 years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Seriously.<\/p>\n<p>Oh how I wish I could have been there.\u00a0 To share the movie, and sing along with the enormous crowd,\u00a0 and do it with the stars of it.<\/p>\n<p>What an amazing experience.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"610\" height=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/itRFjzQICJU\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s one of those movies I&#8217;ve watched a million times.
