The Biggest Little Farm.<\/p>\n
It’s positive.\u00a0 It’s happy.<\/p>\n
It’s awesome.<\/p>\n
It follows the story of a couple and their dog. Todd. They rescue him.\u00a0 In a way, he rescues them.<\/p>\n
Because, you see, the dog in a way, is at fault, for the reason they decide to leave their little apartment in the city of Los Angeles and decide to go after their dream of building a farm.<\/p>\n
Growing everything themselves.\u00a0 Vegetables, fruits, and raising animals.\u00a0 All things living together, growing together, in perfect harmony.<\/p>\n
They find a farm that has been abandoned.\u00a0 Neglected.\u00a0 Overrun. The soil dead.<\/p>\n
A big job.<\/p>\n
But with the help of investors and those willing to come and learn how to farm the “old fashioned way” they make it work.<\/p>\n
Not without struggle.\u00a0 Not without challenges.<\/p>\n
It’s amazing to me to see just how incredibly complex nature is.\u00a0 To see just how everything really does need each other to exist.\u00a0 Everything has a purpose and reason for being.\u00a0 From the ground cover, to the plants and trees, to the insects, the coyotes, and rodents.<\/p>\n
Everything needs each other to exist and flourish.<\/p>\n
I found myself getting so caught up in the struggles.\u00a0 Routing for this couple as they brought a dying farm back to life.<\/p>\n
You get attached to the animals.\u00a0 You get to know some of them by name.\u00a0 Like Emma – the pig and her fourteen babies.\u00a0 Greasy – the rooster.\u00a0 Who just needs a safe place to live.\u00a0 Just happens to be with the pig.<\/p>\n
You cheer them on as they fight the elements. As the farm increases, so do the problems.\u00a0 The pests, the wildlife.<\/p>\n
But they learn how each play an important role in the success of the farm.\u00a0 Every animal, every insect, has an important role to play.\u00a0 Each needed.<\/p>\n
Simply amazing and so worth watching.\u00a0 A feel good movie for sure that might even leave you in tears at times.\u00a0 It did me.<\/p>\n
