Todd. They rescue him.\u00a0 In a way, he rescues them.<\/p>\n<p>Because, you see, the dog in a way, is at fault, for the reason they decide to leave their little apartment in the city of Los Angeles and decide to go after their dream of building a farm.<\/p>\n<p>Growing everything themselves.\u00a0 Vegetables, fruits, and raising animals.\u00a0 All things living together, growing together, in perfect harmony.<\/p>\n<p>They find a farm that has been abandoned.\u00a0 Neglected.\u00a0 Overrun. The soil dead.<\/p>\n<p>A big job.<\/p>\n<p>But with the help of investors and those willing to come and learn how to farm the &#8220;old fashioned way&#8221; they make it work.<\/p>\n<p>Not without struggle.\u00a0 Not without challenges.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s amazing to me to see just how incredibly complex nature is.\u00a0 To see just how everything really does need each other to exist.\u00a0 Everything has a purpose and reason for being.\u00a0 From the ground cover, to the plants and trees, to the insects, the coyotes, and rodents.<\/p>\n<p>Everything needs each other to exist and flourish.<\/p>\n<p>I found myself getting so caught up in the struggles.\u00a0 Routing for this couple as they brought a dying farm back to life.<\/p>\n<p>You get attached to the animals.\u00a0 You get to know some of them by name.\u00a0 Like Emma &#8211; the pig and her fourteen babies.\u00a0 Greasy &#8211; the rooster.\u00a0 Who just needs a safe place to live.\u00a0 Just happens to be with the pig.<\/p>\n<p>You cheer them on as they fight the elements.
