Awe, Kratu.\u00a0 You are adorable.\u00a0 And I get you.\u00a0 You just showed everybody how to have fun despite the circumstances.\u00a0 You don’t need to win a blue ribbon for passing through obstacles perfectly.\u00a0 You win for having the most fun. I would rather watch you run around a course, missing the obstacles you’re supposed to jump over, then do it perfectly.<\/p>\n
Kratu is a six-year-old rescue dog.\u00a0 And he competed again at one of the world’s largest dog shows, held every year in England.\u00a0 And he’s getting recognized for just how well he DIDN’T do.<\/p>\n
You might normally see the professional puppies competing at this dog show for the top prizes.\u00a0 But this show is special.\u00a0 Because it’s for these special dogs.\u00a0 It’s for the rescue dogs.\u00a0 For fun.<\/p>\n
Kratu avoided many of the obstacles.\u00a0 He even stole a pole from an agility obstacle before running off with it. But you can see how much fun he is having.<\/p>\n
His owner said,\u00a0\u201cI really, really don\u2019t know what he\u2019s going to do, but I was absolutely delighted he was having so much fun,\u201d<\/p>\n
The video of Kratu\u2019s unforgettable performance has been seen more than 1.6 million times since Friday.<\/p>\n
Kratu was rescued as a puppy from Romania and brought to the United Kingdom to become a therapy dog, where he now provides emotional support for his owner, who has autism.<\/p>\n
Kratu has also provided emotional support to university students, patients with dementia and was even invited to the European Parliament for a film screening about stray dogs in Romania.<\/p>\n
And it’s not his first show either.\u00a0 He’s just too darn cute.<\/p>\n
