I love the smell of fresh cut grass. It&#8217;s one of my favourite smells.\u00a0 Up there with laundry, fresh bread, apple pie, fresh baked cookies.<\/p>\n<p>See, distracted.<\/p>\n<p>One thought leads to something else and then nothing gets done.<\/p>\n<p>Working from home is a challenge.\u00a0 I go to the kitchen for a glass of water, and want to sweep the floor, fold a blanket on the couch, add something to the grocery list and pet the cat.<\/p>\n<p>Then I remember, I&#8217;m supposed to be working and I should get back to &#8220;the studio&#8221; before the music stops.<\/p>\n<p>How are you t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9408 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.briwebapp.net\/2020\/05\/24f39be4-puzzle-e1590082313334.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"214\" height=\"161\" \/>oday?\u00a0 How are you feeling?\u00a0 \u00a0How is your time at home going?<\/p>\n<p>I keep walking past the jigsaw puzzle I can&#8217;t seem to finish.\u00a0 I used to be really good at puzzles.\u00a0 This one has been frustrating.\u00a0 I blame lack of proper light.\u00a0 (smile) I probably should be wearing my glasses instead of forcing pieces into place.<\/p>\n<p>Our cat &#8211; Sheldon &#8211; likes to walk on the table.\u00a0 Or sit on the pieces.\u00a0 \u00a0Sweeping them with his tail.\u00a0 I know he does\u00a0it on purpose<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9411 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.briwebapp.net\/2020\/05\/00f39fea-ketchup-puzzle.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"211\" height=\"119\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Heinz has released a puzzle. 570 pieces.<\/p>\n<p>All Heinz red.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/heinzketchuppuzzle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;NOW YOU CAN OWN THE RI<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/heinzketchuppuzzle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DICULOUSLY SLOW HEINZ KETCHUP PUZZLE<\/a>. 570 pieces. All in identical HEINZ Ketchup red.&#8221; Proceeds going to food banks. I can&#8217;t imagine the level of frustration with that one.\u00a0 If you should purchase it (hey, it&#8217;s for the food banks!) please share.\u00a0 I want to\u00a0 meet the person that gets it done.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I know a lot of our kids are disappointed they won&#8217;t be getting their prom this year.\u00a0 I&#8217;m sorry about that.\u00a0 And maybe you would have had an awesome prom.\u00a0 I grew up in the 80&#8217;s, with the movies that created this build up of what prom could be like.\u00a0 My prom was the opposite of what prom should be.\u00a0 5 other girls wearing the same dress.\u00a0 My date was stolen by another &#8220;friend&#8221;.\u00a0 If I could go back and re-write the script on that day, it would have been so much better.\u00a0 Honestly, I had way more fun when our high school had a backwards prom.\u00a0 The MORP.\u00a0 We got to dress the way we wanted &#8211; even if that meant as some Punk Rock chick &#8211; with ripped jeans and crimped hair.\u00a0 Like Halloween, only better.\u00a0 That by far was the best day of my high school life.\u00a0 And way less money.\u00a0 The most memorable events in life aren&#8217;t always the ones that are built up to be that way, but the smaller, more unexpected ones.\u00a0 Try not to feel like you&#8217;ve missed out.\u00a0 My seventeen year old awkward self would say &#8220;it&#8217;s not all that it&#8217;s cracked up to be&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>And by the way, grade eight grad was nothing worth remembering for me either.\u00a0 My family had just moved from Streetsville, to THEDFORD!\u00a0 The last two weeks of grade 8.\u00a0 I ended up graduating with a bunch of strangers at the time.\u00a0 Wearing some old dress from an old picture day.\u00a0 Looking awkward and so out of place.\u00a0 It was a small ceremony in the gym of the school. When I look back on those memorable days of my school life, that wasn&#8217;t one that comes to mind without wanting to cry.\u00a0 (smile).<\/p>\n<p>This is one time I am super thankful I don&#8217;t have a picture of the day to remember.<\/p>\n<p>Do you have something that stands out from your time in school?\u00a0 For me, I think it was the everyday things.\u00a0 It was fries and gravy, and from what I remember, sometimes mayo &#8211; in the cafeteria.\u00a0 It was only having a quarter in my pocket to buy one of those giant sour keys.\u00a0 It was walking the halls with my friends.\u00a0 It was having crushes on boys.
