The Wiz was the one I hopped on board for, with stage sets and projection lighting in the tens of thousands of dollars &#8211; Oakridge went big. My sister took the lead Maria in West Side Story, and Jesus Christ Superstar &#8211; these were actually pretty huge and upped the expectations of what to expect from a high school production.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"610\" height=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sRRxI0_KZdo\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>And then you&#8217;ve got that one high school <a href=\"https:\/\/news.avclub.com\/this-high-school-drama-club-put-on-a-stage-production-o-1833515613\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>who just put on a stage production of ALIEN.\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\nSeriously &#8211; I was tempted to take a road trip. Like, who DOES that?<br \/>\nNeedless to say&#8230;Next year&#8230;ALIENS?<br \/>\nC&#8217;mon!
