The lines rarely rhyme.<\/p>\n<p>BUT WHAT MOST OF US KNOW\u2026ABOUT THE HAIKU DEFINITION &#8211;IS FROM.. WAYNE\u2019S WORLD&#8230;<br \/>\n<div class=\"video-shortcode embed-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" width=\"610\" height=\"355\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MNcSKUQPjTg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Does this seem weird to anybody else? I mean, we&#8217;re looking down on Wayne&#8217;s basement,<br \/>\nonly that&#8217;s not Wayne&#8217;s basement. Isn&#8217;t that weird?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But was it &#8211; actually.. A true haiku??<br \/>\nIT CAN BE ARGUED.. That the pattern could be still valid as &#8221; short-longer-short&#8221; and that<br \/>\nthe exact number of syllables doesn&#8217;t matter.<br \/>\nOkay&#8230;<br \/>\nI\u2019M GONNA GO PROFESSOR MATT ON YOU.. BUCKLE UP.<br \/>\nIF YOU WANT TO GO THE PURIST ROUTE..<br \/>\nTHE THOUSAND YEAR OLD TRADITIONAL HAIKU..<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m pretty sure Wayne would think of a haiku as just a poem with the 3 lines<br \/>\nin a 5-7-5 syllable pattern,THEREFORE\u2026. Garth&#8217;s statement could be arranged as such:<\/p>\n<p><strong>I mean we&#8217;re looking<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>down on Wayne&#8217;s basement, only<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>that&#8217;s not Wayne&#8217;s basement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>AND THERE YOU HAVE IT&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Waynes World Haiku Myth\u2026<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>NOT BUSTED. So Now you know<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Hey Man.
