Lockdown Life: The Good!

So how about this for a theory….That there is a chance.. A real possibility…
That If we keep on doing the right things..
We might just come out of this pandemic –  in some ways, individually – better
than the way we were thrown in.

We’ve been talking  a lot about things like. “What the pandemic has taught is..
And “things that are not so bad about this whole situation after all”.
There’s positives if you know where to look for them.

And at this point, idk about you.. But I try and seek out the positives where I can.

For one thing..   The pandemic is starting to make people more frugal, after decades of materialism.
People are doing everything from washing and reusing Ziploc bags to making sure to eat all of their leftovers.

Up until now we’ve been taking disposable things for granted..
from paper plates, plastic cutlery, and K-cups to burner phones and even disposable computers
we all know somebody who’s t
ossed out  an unopened bottle of water because it had been removed
from the fridge. That’s how we’ve each ended up throwing out over 2500 lbs of trash every year,
the equivalent
weight of two grizzly bears.

But since this pandemic has hit.. I know I’ve caught myself washing and reusing ziploc bags from the freezer…
Punching holes in the bottoms of  tin cans to use as garden plant starters –  starting a compost bin,
and feeding it all the vegetable scraps…

What positive changes have YOU noticed in your day to day life
And daily routine over the last few months?
