Luke Combs Happy To Be Performing Again

Luke Combs was thrilled to take home a few awards at last week’s ACM Awards in Nashville, but he was just as happy to be able to play live for an audience, albeit a virtual one.

Luke performed from the Bluebird Cafe alongside one of his band members, and he said he was more than ready.

“You know, it’s the first time I’ve performed outside of my garage in six or seven months, so that was really nice. You know, the tour bus has been parked outside of my house since March and it’s been weird seeing it sit there so to be able to come in town and play at the Bluebird and just being able to play and even be with one guy that’s in my band and play some music and get to win some trophies has been really great.”

Luke took home trophies for Male Artist and Album of the Year for What You See Is What You Get.

He will release the deluxe version of his latest album, What You See Is What You Get — called What You See Ain’t Always What You Get — on October 23rd.

The extended edition will feature all 18 songs from the 2019 project as well as five new tracks.
