Little Big Town Member Has COVID-19
April 16, 2021 11:00 amLittle Big Town’s Phillip Sweet has tested positive for COVID-19 and will not be joining the group when they perform live on the ACM Awards on Sunday, April 18th.
Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook and Kimberly Schlapman told Taste of Country Nights that while he’s on the mend, Phillip’s not well enough to be in public.
Kimberly said she recently left chicken and dumplings on his doorstep to aid in his recovery.
Little Big Town will perform their current single, “Wine Beer Whiskey,” on Nashville’s lower Broadway on the ACM Awards.
They are also nominated for Vocal Group of the Year.
The ACM Awards will air on CBS beginning at 8 p.m.
