Walker Hayes Performs At Halftime Of AFC Championship

Walker Hayes performed during halftime at the Bengals – Chiefs game in Kansas City on Sunday, January 30th.

But all anyone is talking about is how he drowned out the CBS analysts trying to do the mid-game roundup.

Somebody in charge of the audio screwed up, so as you’re watching James Brown, Nate Burleson, Phil Simms, Boomer Esiason, and Bill Cowher trying to discuss the game, you’re hearing Walker perform “Fancy Like” and “AA”.

Naturally, Twitter had a field day. One person wrote, “Who scheduled a football game in the middle of a Walker Hayes concert?” Another said, “We’re getting a halftime show and a halftime show at the same time.”

This one loved the chaos, quote, “This is the greatest halftime show in the history of televised sports.” This person called it: “A producer is getting fired today.” Walker posted a clip of it, but played it safe, saying, “CBSSports, thanks for having me.”
