Kacey Musgraves recently gave “Architectural Digest” a tour of her Nashville home.

It’s gorgeous, and it’s all hers, which is very important because she bought it while going through her divorce.

“I wanted a place that felt like me, where I could express myself without having to think about another person and what they might want.”

The best parts of the tour are when she shows off her personal items. There’s fun stuff she’s been making in pottery class, photos of her mom and grandad . . . plus quirky things she’s collected through the years, like a guitar from the 1800s, and a “fatty” from a famous fellow Texan.

“I’ve got a framed joint from Willie Nelson. That’s going to stay there unless I need to break it in case of emergency.”

How and why did this even happen? She gave a little more detail in the article.

“He rolled this huge fatty and we all sat around and smoked it with him. Then he said, ‘Save the rest for another time,’ and I did.”

Kacey also told a great story about the time her grandpa played poker with Willie and beat him.

This was about four years ago when she was in Hawaii over the holidays.

She got invited to one of Willie’s famous poker nights where she hung out with people like Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and Paul Simon.

When she heard there was another game the NEXT night she asked if she could bring her grandpa.

“Willie said, ‘Sure, bring him down. But the buy-in is going to be $300 cash.’ So I went to an ATM, got out some money, and when I got home I handed Pop a wad of cash, and said, ‘Merry Christmas.'”

Kacey’s gramps played poker all the time, so he had some skills.

“They get going and [gramps] loses all of his money, and then he eventually wins it all back, and then he stood up and said, ‘Well, I got to go.’ He ended on a high note. He won his buy-in back. So it was, he lost to Willie, then beat Willie’s ass, and then we left. [My] grandpa was the talk of their little Texas town. All of his friends were so jealous. It was really cute.”
