Kane Brown Responds To Racist Comments On Social Media

It’s shocking to hear this is still happening, but Kane Brown posted a screenshot on Friday, February 24th of a racial slur that someone wrote on his Instagram.

Here’s the comment:  “Maybe try rap next, [N-word].”

Kane’s been hearing that kind of thing all his life, so maybe that’s why he was able to handle it with humour.  When he shared the screenshot, he included laughing emojis, and wrote, “sh*t’s funny.”

A commenter suggested it be deleted, and he replied,

“Instagram can delete it, I’m not.  I keep my mouth shut, but I get this 10 times a day.  Everyone pretends racism doesn’t exist, but I don’t like to [remind], everyone, because not everyone is [racist].”

The post HAS been taken down, but Kane’s FANS had a few things to say.

“How can anyone think that’s okay?”  “Why do other humans hate?”  “This makes my heart so sad.”  And, “They need to leave my guy alone.  He’s the reason why I love country music.”
