John Mellencamp Says Willie Nelson Should Get The Nobel Peace Prize

He told “Texas Monthly” Willie deserves it for his work with Farm Aid.
John and Willie started it with Neil Young in 1985. But he says “it all stems from Willie,” adding, “Neil and I just carry water.”
He says he’s always admired Willie’s determination and “ability to keep moving forward” no matter who tries to stop him.
No musician has ever won the Nobel Peace Prize, but they’ve been nominated before.
Bono made the shortlist in 2006 for his work to help end poverty around the world.
