Carly Pearce On Songwriting

Carly Pearce writes a lot of the songs she records.

That has fans wondering when she’s in the room writing a song, or once it’s finished, does she ever get a feeling when a song is special, or have a sense about whether or not it’s going to be a hit or a fan favourite?

“I think you can tell, like the songs that are gonna be reactive with your fans, you can tell the songs that are gonna be reactive in your live show, and then you can also tell what songs will be hopefully reactive to radio. I think it’s all kind of a little bit different.”
