Lainey Wilson Can’t Get Rid Of Her Accent

Lainey Wilson has a strong southern twang, so it’s funny listening to her talk about trying to tone it down.

In an interview, she talked about a recent audition she had where at the end they asked her to do it again, but without an accent.

“Y’all this is about to be funny, and I’m not even trying to be funny . . . If I ever do that, it will definitely take some work . . . I’ll need to talk to a professional to figure out how to not talk like this.”

Luckily for her, she said most of the parts she’s going out for right now are okay with her accent.
