Dwight Yoakam Hosting Star-Studded Charity Concert For Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

Dwight Yoakam will headline a benefit concert on January 28th at the Roxy on Los Angeles’ Sunset Strip to support Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

The inaugural “Dwight Yoakam & Friends: Rockin’ for the Kids” features Grammy nominees Charley Crockett and Lukas Nelson, plus Marcus King, with additional special guests to be announced. 

Billy Bob Thornton and director McG will emcee the Grammy-week event. The benefit stems from Yoakam and wife Emily’s experience at CHLA when their son required medical attention from Dr. Mark Krieger, the hospital’s senior vice president and surgeon-in-chief.

“When you walk the halls of a children’s hospital, it changes you,” Yoakam said. “Rockin’ for the Kids is our way of saying thank you to Dr. Krieger and the entire staff at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.” Tickets are available at dwightyoakam.com.
