{"id":26689,"date":"2023-12-27T05:55:41","date_gmt":"2023-12-27T10:55:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/?p=26689"},"modified":"2023-12-27T05:10:46","modified_gmt":"2023-12-27T10:10:46","slug":"dixie-chicks-founding-member-killed-in-car-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2023\/12\/dixie-chicks-founding-member-killed-in-car-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Dixie Chicks Founding Member Killed In Car Crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Laura Lynch, one of the founding members of the Dixie Chicks has died at the age of 65.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/laura-lynch-founding-member-the-chicks-dead-65-car-crash-8419979\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">According to People.com<\/a>, she was in a head-on collision on Friday, December 22 in Texas and was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Lynch was travelling eastbound on Highway 62 in Hudspeth County when another westbound driver attempted to pass a vehicle on a two-way undivided portion of the road.
