I feel like I fell in love with songwriting because of the songs that he would play coming back for holidays – Christmas, Thanksgiving. But, you know, I moved to Nashville to have songs on country radio, and still to this day, there’s no better feeling in the world than driving around with my kiddos and Dad comes on the radio. You don’t have to go to it, you don’t have to click on anything. You’re driving around listening to Carrie Underwood, then all of a sudden, a song that you wrote, that you’re singing, is coming through the car speakers on country radio.
