Jordan Davis is closing in on the top of the country charts with his latest hit, \u201cTucson Too Late.\u201d<\/p>\n
He wrote the song with his brother Jacob Davis and brothers Josh and Matt Jenkins, the same team that wrote his hit song \u201cBuy Dirt.\u201d<\/p>\n
But Jordan said the song was almost set in\u00a0a different city in a different state, but Google changed that.<\/p>\n
\u201cInitially it was Tulane Too Late. I was thinking they were talking about the highway, like a two-lane highway,\u201d recalls Jordan. \u201cIt turns out they were talking about the University of New Orleans, Tulane. So, then I just said, \u2018Alright, this is way too confusing. We\u2019ve got to fix this.\u2019 So, (laughs) we googled T towns (laughs), and the first one that popped up was Tucson. So, there we go\u2014\u2018Tucson Too Late.\u2019\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
