Garth Brooks was just accused of sexual assault and battery in a lawsuit filed yesterday.<\/p>\n
A longtime makeup artist and stylist for Trisha Yearwood and Garth alleged that he raped her during a work trip in 2019.<\/p>\n
In a statement submitted to “Deadline” last night, Garth strongly denied the allegations, again.<\/p>\n
“For the last two months, I have been hassled to no end with threats, lies, and tragic tales of what my future would be if I did not write a check for many millions of dollars.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
He went on to say that he refuses to pay “hush money” because it meant he was admitting to behavior that he didn’t do.<\/p>\n
He ended the statement by saying…<\/p>\n
“I trust the system. I do not fear the truth, and I am not the man they have painted me to be. “<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
