{"id":30306,"date":"2024-11-12T06:15:34","date_gmt":"2024-11-12T11:15:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/?p=30306"},"modified":"2024-11-13T04:52:03","modified_gmt":"2024-11-13T09:52:03","slug":"new-singing-competition-with-blake-shelton","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2024\/11\/new-singing-competition-with-blake-shelton\/","title":{"rendered":"New Singing Competition With Blake Shelton"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, November 11, CBS announced that a new singing competition series called\u00a0<em>The Road<\/em>\u00a0has been ordered for fall 2025, with\u00a0<strong>Blake Shelton\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<em>Yellowstone<\/em>\u00a0creator<strong>\u00a0Taylor Sheridan\u00a0<\/strong>among the executive producers.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Road<\/em>\u00a0will follow &#8220;a headlining superstar (to be announced) on their journey to discover the next big artist,\u201d while also providing &#8220;a backstage pass into the gritty and unforgiving life of a touring artist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Musicians will join the headliner on tour as opening acts at venues throughout the country, competing to win over local audiences in order to land a spot in the next city and remain on tour.<\/p>\n<p>Blake said he&#8217;s excited for the new venture.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m a big fan of Taylor\u2019s incredible work, and I\u2019m excited to team with him and my long-time collaborator, Lee, on The Road. I know a thing or two about singing competitions and what it\u2019s like to chase a music dream and live life on tour.
