Morgan Wallen is a force, and he just proved it again by taking down a record held by Garth Brooks, Luke Combs, and himself.<\/p>\n
Morgan’s song “Lies Lies Lies” just got to #1 on the Hot Country Chart, which made it his FIFTH #1 this year. No one has ever had more in a calendar year.<\/p>\n
The previous record was FOUR #1s in a year, held by Garth, Luke, and Morgan, from when he had four #1s last year.<\/p>\n
“Lies Lies Lies \u201cis Morgan’s first solo number one this year, though. The previous four were all collaborations.<\/p>\n
In March, he was on top for a week with Thomas Rhett for “Mamaw’s House,” then in April, he was on top again for a week with Eric Church for “Man Made a Bar.”<\/p>\n
