{"id":30523,"date":"2024-11-28T08:30:16","date_gmt":"2024-11-28T13:30:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/?p=30523"},"modified":"2024-11-28T05:43:21","modified_gmt":"2024-11-28T10:43:21","slug":"how-keith-urban-got-waylon-jennings-iconic-guitar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2024\/11\/how-keith-urban-got-waylon-jennings-iconic-guitar\/","title":{"rendered":"How Keith Urban Got Waylon Jennings&#8217; Iconic Guitar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s not a surprise that guitar prodigy Keith Urban has a huge collection of guitars.<\/p>\n<p>But he always had his eyes set on Waylon Jennings&#8217; iconic 1950 Broadcaster, so, when it went up for auction, Keith was ready to swoop it up.<\/p>\n<p>Little did he know, that his wife, Nicole Kidman, was behind the scenes making sure he didn&#8217;t win the auction, because SHE wanted to win it, so she could give it to him as a gift.<\/p>\n<p>And apparently, she made Keith sweat thinking he lost the auction, only to surprise him a bit later.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what Keith said about the famous guitar:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It was owned by Reggie Young, who is a great session player. Reggie was touring with The Highwaymen in the &#8217;90s.
