{"id":31393,"date":"2025-02-26T05:45:20","date_gmt":"2025-02-26T10:45:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/?p=31393"},"modified":"2025-02-26T04:56:02","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T09:56:02","slug":"parker-mccollum-is-coming-for-george-strait","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2025\/02\/parker-mccollum-is-coming-for-george-strait\/","title":{"rendered":"Parker McCollum Is Coming For George Strait"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>George Strait<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0is the undisputed &#8220;King of Country&#8221; with SIXTY #1 hits.\u00a0 That&#8217;s an unbelievable number.\u00a0 Some musicians would be lucky to\u00a0have\u00a0ONE #1 in their lifetime.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">But\u00a0<\/span><b>Parker McCollum<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0is not treating it like too big of a deal.\u00a0 Parker played that giant show with George last year in\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisebrother.com\/tcs\/story\/181289\"><b>Texas<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and is now gearing up to go out on the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wisebrother.com\/tcs\/story\/186888\"><b>road<\/b><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0with George and\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Chris Stapleton<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.\u00a0 So, the two have gotten close.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Here&#8217;s what Parker had to say,\u00a0quote,\u00a0&#8220;I always knew George had 60, and I was like, &#8216;well, you&#8217;re never gonna have 60, so&#8217; . . .
