Gibbs High School in Tennessee has renamed its baseball field the \u2018Morgan Wallen Field\u2019 in honour of its most famous alumni.<\/p>\n
Principal Jason Webster praised Wallen\u2019s generosity and his positive impact on the school while making he dedication to the country music superstar.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s been a positive promoter of Gibbs and has given back throughout his time after high school. We\u2019re thankful for the things that he does, not just for Gibbs high school, but Knox County schools and the community at large. He\u2019s a very giving person and we\u2019re excited to do this for him.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Wallen, a former player at Gibbs High who was part of their 2010 state championship team, graduated in 2011 and has maintained strong ties to both the school and the local community.<\/p>\n
