{"id":37968,"date":"2026-09-24T07:30:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-24T11:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/?p=37968"},"modified":"2026-09-24T05:21:49","modified_gmt":"2026-09-24T09:21:49","slug":"dolly-partons-nephew-dismissed-as-head-of-security-after-20-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chokfm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2026\/09\/dolly-partons-nephew-dismissed-as-head-of-security-after-20-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Dolly Parton\u2019s Nephew Dismissed As Head Of Security After 20 Years"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Dolly Parton&#8217;s<\/strong> nephew, Bryan Seaver, has been fired as head of security for her properties following more than two decades in the role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2026\/09\/21\/dolly-parton-nephew-fired-estate-battle\/\">According to TMZ<\/a>, Seaver received a termination notice last Wednesday, immediately removing him and his security companies from every Parton property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He&#8217;s the same one who broke the news of her passing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Estate was also <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/dolly-parton-estate-claims-terminated-nephew-made-threats-to-destroy-the-brand-docs-12135621\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">granted<\/a> a temporary restraining order against him.\u00a0They allege that he threatened to smear her legacy and made violent threats toward her employees.\u00a0 He also told Dolly&#8217;s entertainment attorney, &#8220;I&#8217;m not an entertainment person. \u00a0I&#8217;m a killer.'&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Replacement guards have since taken over her Nashville home, museum, downtown residence, and warehouse. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seaver inherited the position from his father, Larry Seaver. He and his team blamed Parton&#8217;s manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank for the dismissal, calling the actions &#8220;bad faith.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We remain unshakably resolved to fulfill her final directive to protect her family,&#8221; Seaver&#8217;s team said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parton died August 25th in Nashville following a brief battle with cancer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dolly Parton&#8217;s nephew, Bryan Seaver, has been fired as head of security for her properties following more than two decades in the role.
