Canada Walks For Bladder Cancer – Windsor 2026

Lace up your runners for the 16th annual Canada Walks for Bladder Cancer! Join us on September 19, 2026 at The Ganatchio Trail (at McHugh Park) to raise awareness and funds for bladder cancer, the fifth most common cancer in Canada.

Every day, more than 37 Canadians are diagnosed with bladder cancer. Funds raised through this event help support patients and families, increase awareness, and advance critical research breakthroughs.

Thanks to events like this, Bladder Cancer Canada’s support programs remain free for those who need them most.

Together, we can create a world where no one faces bladder cancer alone. Let’s walk, fundraise and make a difference.

We can’t wait to see you there! Register or donate at www.bccwalk.ca.

Mandala Painting Workshop

2026/09/12

01:00 pm

Join us for a relaxing and creative afternoon as we paint a beautiful Evil Eye Mandala using acrylic dot painting techniques.

We're excited to host this workshop at Celeste Café, a warm and welcoming local café known for its cozy atmosphere, delicious handcrafted drinks, and inviting community space. It's the perfect setting to slow down, enjoy a creative afternoon, and connect with others. Take a break from your busy week, sip your favorite coffee or tea, and immerse yourself in the calming rhythm of mandala dot painting. Whether you're coming with friends or enjoying some solo creative time, Celeste Café offers the ideal environment to relax, create, and unwind. Support a wonderful local café while creating a beautiful piece of art to take home.

The Evil Eye is a symbol of protection, positivity, and good energy, while the circular mandala represents balance, mindfulness, and inner calm. Through slow, repetitive dot painting, you'll enjoy a peaceful creative experience that encourages focus, relaxation, and self-expression.

During this guided workshop, you'll learn how to:

Create perfectly shaped dots using dotting tools

Build a mandala from the center outward

Layer colours to create depth and dimension

Add delicate details and borders

Finish your artwork with a beautiful professional look

Leave with your own hand-painted Evil Eye Mandala and the confidence to continue your dot painting journey at home.

No artistic experience is required—just bring yourself and enjoy a mindful afternoon of creativity.
