Jay’s review #1:\u00a0\u00a0All My Puny Sorrows <\/strong><\/em><\/a>by Miriam Toews\n<\/strong>\nThis was honestly one of the saddest books I’ve ever read, I was literally reduced to a sniveling ball of tears on at least 5 occasions.\u00a0 Oh, but it’s also hilarious.\u00a0 The journey these sisters and their families take is one that is so relatable and so heartbreaking and I can’t recommend it highly enough!\u00a0 \u00a0Sad, funny, and oh yes… Canadian!\u00a0 You’ll cry your face off while laughing your ass off.\u00a0 And it’s set in my hometown of WINNIPEG, but don’t let that stop you.\n<\/p>\nTori’s review #1:\u00a0 Verity<\/strong><\/em><\/a> by Colleen Hoover<\/p>\nReading Colleen Hoover reminds me of watching something like Criminal Minds. You have to stop and think, who on Earth could be sick enough to even come up with these ideas?! But that really is the beauty in her books. They are brilliantly written and incredibly intense. I promise, Verity will take you for the ride of your life and by the end, you’ll be questioning EVERYTHING (this is my favorite kind of book).
