We love local music, we love local beer, and we love standing up together and saying F**k cancer.\u00a0 \u00a0 This week’s Homegrown Hit artist Justin Latam has teamed up with Local Kingsville craft brewery Top Dog Brewing for their rendition of Fine N\u2019 Dandy<\/em> to fight against cancer in the month of April! They will be brewing a Radler infused with honey, lemon, yuzu & dandelion root.\u00a0$1 from every can sold will be donated to a local charity that helps cancer patients during their journey.<\/b><\/p>\n

Last year, Top Dog raised $1500. They plan on releasing 1000 cans and are going to create a section on the label to honour individuals who are fighting or have fought this terrible disease. Last year Justin\u00a0had the name of his late brother-in-law (and band mate), Ian Tate, on the can, among other names of people who\u2019ve fought cancer.\u00a0 As Justin tells us “As I was sipping on a Top Dog Fine N\u2019 Dandy Lemon Radler last summer, I took the opportunity for self-reflection. I thought about all the loved ones I\u2019ve known in my life who have had to battle cancer. During that reflection, I wrote a song called \u201cDandelion Roar\u201d to honour those loved ones. It was recorded at Sound Foundry Studios in Kingsville<\/em> Ontario.”<\/div>\n
