FROM THE VAULT:\u00a0 JAY’S FIRST BLOG.<\/strong><\/p>\n

September 26, 2010<\/p>\n

Kaltx\u00ec, Windsor!\u00a0 That means ‘Hi’ in Navi. My name is Jay, and if you love the new movie\u00a0Avatar<\/em> as much as I do, we’ll definitely get along. K\u00e4!<\/p>\n

I guess you could say I’m just a regular non-controversial guy.\u00a0 Some of my favourite things include The Cosby Show<\/strong>, plastic straws<\/strong>, and the band Hedley<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0 (Boring, I know.\u00a0 I guess I just like normal, timeless things that will never ever stop being acceptable.)<\/p>\n

Not\u00a0to complain but 2010 is truly the worst.\u00a0It started with an earthquake in Haiti<\/strong> that killed hundreds of thousands of people.\u00a0\u00a0In April there was that awful Deepwater Horizon<\/strong> disaster.\u00a0 And right now those Chilean<\/strong> guys are STILL stuck in that mine!\u00a0 I can’t imagine the world being affected by anything bigger than this, can you?\u00a0 And then to top it all off, last night I was at at this downtown bar called\u00a0The Loop,\u00a0<\/em>I think, where\u00a0someone stole my backpack with my only copy of\u00a0Mockingjay\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>and\u00a0my new iPod Touch<\/strong> inside.\u00a0 The world is going to be so much better in ten years, mark my words.<\/p>\n

Now I\u00a0know we’re still reeling from the finale of LOST<\/strong> but let’s try to move on.\u00a0 How about those Vancouver Games<\/strong> that just happened, am I right?\u00a0 And now that football season is here it’s so cool to have a legitimate NFL<\/strong> contender right across the river.\u00a0 They just drafted this new quarterback… Matthew something?\u00a0 Trust me.\u00a0 He’s gonna have multiple rings.\u00a0 I just hope I can afford Super Bowl<\/strong> tickets in few years, I’m sure the economy will be terrific soon.<\/p>\n

Speaking of America, we are now almost 2 years into the Obama<\/strong> administration and you know what?\u00a0 Hats off to America!\u00a0 So progressive.\u00a0 You know, I was worried about them but they elected a scientific minded, intelligent, humble and generous man as their 44th president.\u00a0 I just can’t wait to see who they’ll elect next.\u00a0 Maybe an actual astronaut or scientist?\u00a0 One thing I do know is this:\u00a0 America… you are right on track<\/strong>!\u00a0 There’s literally almost nothing stupid you could to to mess this up.<\/p>\n

I can only hope that if I’m here 10 years from now I’ll be able to say the following:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It’s been a great.\u00a0 For me at least. Thanks for tolerating me.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Anyway, in 2030 we’ll do this again so if someone could please save this Top 20 list that would be great.\u00a0 I don’t want to have to make it again.<\/p>\n
