{"id":8378,"date":"2020-12-24T08:16:55","date_gmt":"2020-12-24T13:16:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chyrfm\/?p=8378"},"modified":"2020-12-24T08:21:18","modified_gmt":"2020-12-24T13:21:18","slug":"is-there-hope-for-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chyrfm\/blogs\/mornings\/2020\/12\/is-there-hope-for-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Is There Hope For 2021?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are millions of reasons to be down right now.\u00a0 Families who have lost someone, business owners who has lost their dream&#8230;\u00a0 how can we sit here and sip egg nog while a mom somewhere is in a food line to get bread for her kid?<\/p>\n<p>Every minute someone loses a loved one or a job or a wedding ring or totals their car or falls on the ice or burns their mouth on some hot pizza.\u00a0 It&#8217;s all bad and it&#8217;s all here for us and that sucks, even in the &#8216;good&#8217; years.<\/p>\n<p>But you know what else happens every minute?\u00a0 <strong>Dogs smiling<\/strong> when they see a person they know.\u00a0 <strong>Little kids spinning around until they get dizzy<\/strong> and falling down.\u00a0 Someone tasting that<strong> really good ice cream<\/strong> you had that one time.\u00a0 Even in &#8216;bad&#8217; years, those things still happen too.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow there will Christmas movies on in the background while we sip an egg nog and watch our kids play with their new toys.\u00a0 And we&#8217;ll feel a little bit guilty when we think about those who have it so much worse.\u00a0 But we&#8217;ll still sip and watch and enjoy, and I hope wherever you are you&#8217;re able to do the same.\u00a0 <em><strong>Help our where you can and be hopeful for 2021.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Merry Christmas and happy holidays.<\/p>\n<p>Jay and family.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8392\" src=\"https:\/\/storage.briwebapp.net\/2020\/12\/e84ffa08-egg-695x934.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"There are millions of reasons to be down right now.\u00a0 Families who have lost someone, business owners who has lost their dream&#8230;\u00a0 how can we sit here and sip egg nog while a mom somewhere is in a food line to get bread for her kid?
