{"id":8453,"date":"2021-01-12T08:55:48","date_gmt":"2021-01-12T13:55:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chyrfm\/?p=8453"},"modified":"2021-01-12T08:55:48","modified_gmt":"2021-01-12T13:55:48","slug":"bridgerton-could-be-at-least-8-seasons","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/chyrfm\/blogs\/mornings\/2021\/01\/bridgerton-could-be-at-least-8-seasons\/","title":{"rendered":"Bridgerton Could Be AT LEAST 8 Seasons!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Netflix&#8217;s newest original <em><strong>Bridgerto<\/strong><strong>n<\/strong><\/em> is not a <em>&#8220;if you know you know&#8221;<\/em> kind of show anymore&#8230; It&#8217;s a <em>&#8220;if you don&#8217;t know, <strong>where have you been<\/strong>?!!&#8221;<\/em> kind of thing.<\/p>\n<p>Turns out it&#8217;s not just me obsessing over it. Predictions say that by the end of January, streaming numbers should exceed the <strong>63 million<\/strong> mark.<\/p>\n<p>All of the world is now wondering (ahem, demanding) when we&#8217;re going to see more of the Bridgerton family.<\/p>\n<p>We may not know when exactly season 2 is coming, but we have gotten some GREAT news about the <strong>longevity<\/strong> of the show.<\/p>\n<p>Showrunner\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>Chris Van Dusen<\/strong> discussed the possibility of not 1&#8230;not 2&#8230; but <strong>8 MORE SEASONS<\/strong>!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The number 8 comes for a specific reason.<\/p>\n<p>The show is of course based on a book series by <strong>Julia Quinn<\/strong> in which each book follows a different member of the Bridgerton family as they navigate their love lives. There are 8 books total, which means 1 season per book!<\/p>\n<p>When asked about how much more we can expect, <strong>Van Dusen<\/strong> said he would love to continue the show for that long and have each season focus on a different member.<\/p>\n<p>If the show is following suit, the next season will focus on the eldest Bridgerton, <strong>Anthony\u00a0<\/strong>(played by Jonathan Baily).<\/p>\n<p>You know&#8230;this guy (heart eyes):<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"insta-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CJR1SrJp72B\/embed\/captioned\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display:inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height:0;\"  class=\"mce_SELRES_start\"><\/span><\/iframe>\n<p>The showrunner&#8217;s answer may not be an explicit promise, but we do know already that production for season 2 is said to begin sometime this Spring. I think all of this info is promising.<\/p>\n<p>There are two bonus books that focus on Lady Whistledown and the Queen. Who knows, maybe they&#8217;ll bump that number up to 10 seasons!<\/p>\n<p>Let me repeat what I said on the show this morning: Shonda&#8230;.hunny&#8230;PLEASE divert some of the energy you put into the 3005089th episode of <strong>Grey&#8217;s<\/strong> into some Bridgerton content.
