You&#8217;re getting a payout!<\/p>\n<p>Of course we never applaud breakups, but this one we kind of saw coming&#8230;right?<\/p>\n<p>Clare Crawley was the first<em> Bachelorette<\/em> of Season 16, staying for a record-breaking two weeks (4 episodes) before departing.<\/p>\n<p>However, she departed with a happy ending.<\/p>\n<p>Clare struggled to connect with any other contestant except 32-year-old Pro-Footballer\u00a0<strong>Dale Moss<\/strong>, saying <em>&#8220;I feel like I just met my husband&#8221;<\/em> as soon as he got out of the limo in episode 1.<\/p>\n<p>Many tears and a few angry contestants later, Dale proposed in episode 4. They left the show hand in hand and made room for the new Bachelorette<strong> Tayshia Adams<\/strong> to begin.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"insta-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CHPNnuYo-F9\/embed\/captioned\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display:inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height:0;\"  class=\"mce_SELRES_start\"><\/span><\/iframe>\n<p>Rumors quickly started surfacing, reporting that Clare &amp; Dale were not as happy as they appear to be on their social media.<\/p>\n<p>Dale debunked the rumors yesterday, confirming via IG story that he and Clare have split. He said:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I wanted share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways. We appreciate the love and support we&#8217;ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time.\u00a0We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself &#8211; something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Welp&#8230;I guess that&#8217;s that.<\/p>\n<p>From the get-go, fans of the show said that the degree of certainty Clare had in Dale was way too soon.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks &amp; four episodes is not enough time know you&#8217;re ready to marry someone, right? They hadn&#8217;t even gotten to do the Hometown Date!<\/p>\n<p>We wish them both the best, but we of course are already making speculations&#8230;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Will Clare return as a <em>Bachelorette<\/em> again?<\/li>\n<li>Will she be eligible as a contestant in a future season of <em>The Bachelor?<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Should the franchise expand and create a show of all the former <em>Bachelor\/Bachelorette<\/em> couples, just so we can get to the bottom of all of this?
