So let me help!<\/p>\n<p>Yes, there are six books that will no longer print. This is because<strong>\u00a0Dr. Seuss Enterprises<\/strong> has independently decided this.<\/p>\n<p>After an investigation was done, lead by appointed educators, there were six books identified as portraying &#8220;hurtful&#8221; images and depictions.<\/p>\n<p>These 6 books are:\u00a0<span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><b><i>&#8220;And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street&#8221;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (1937), <\/span><b><i>&#8220;McElligot&#8217;s Pool&#8221;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (1947), <\/span><b><i>&#8220;If I Ran the Zoo&#8221;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (1950), <\/span><b><i>&#8220;Scrambled Eggs Super!&#8221;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (1953), <\/span><b><i>&#8220;On Beyond Zebra!&#8221;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (1955), and <\/span><b><i>&#8220;The Cat&#8217;s Quizzer&#8221;<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (1976).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>It was said that these books contain offensive images that portray Asians and Africans &#8220;in ways that are hurtful and wrong.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There are about thirty-nine Dr. Seuss books total, meaning that the rest are in the clear.<\/p>\n<p>This decision was made by Dr. Seuss Enterprises themselves. They are not feeding into the idea that Dr. Seuss was racist or that he should be &#8220;cancelled&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, they say it&#8217;s more about protecting and preserving the legacy. They statedm<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan to ensure [the] catalog represents and supports all communities and families.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Of course, feel however you wish to feel.
