Last week, there were some rumors of a possible R-rated and potentially even NC-17 rated cut of the iconic movie “Mrs. Doubtfire”.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Naturally, the internet freaked out at the possibility.<\/p>\n

The movie’s director Chris Columbus<\/strong> has finally commented that it is very possible that we could see this.<\/p>\n

He explained that while filming the movie in ’92\/’93, he and star Robin Williams<\/strong> had a deal. He says that Robin would shoot a couple takes of scripted material, then “play around” for another 15-20 takes.<\/p>\n

He says a lot of what was shot would definitely be considered R-rated but not NC-17, and we could even get a look of it!<\/p>\n

He says that he would love to create a behind-the-scenes documentary to show what filming was like, and include some of that R-rated content!<\/p>\n

How awesome would it be to see bonus material after almost 30 years?!<\/p>\n
