Five ~ LexTalkNListen
April 5, 2019 6:18 amJust a month to go now until our run and over the next few weeks, I want to introduce you to some of the amazing organizations we’re supporting with #RunPhilRun. These are the people on the front lines of the war we’re all fighting against mental illness.
I was pleased to have Rikki Moffatt and Angie Busby-Bross in the studio this week. Rikki’s daughter Lexi, was a beautiful and talented 17 year old who we lost tragically in 2018. As a result of her death, a friend of hers wanted to take his grief and do something good to bring awareness and to change the stigma around mental health. #lextalknlisten sprouted from that awareness bike ride, so people could follow and post about his journey that day. The journey of the hashtag continues as Rikki and Angie continue to build conversations and awareness for mental health.
